2024 has been a year full of blessings and challenges, Alhamdulillah. As a busy dad, I’ve always prioritised my family while working towards personal, professional, and community goals. Looking back, I’m grateful for what I was able to achieve this year:
Professional Projects
Worked with 7 new marketing clients.
Created 8 new partnerships for MuslimKidsTV.
Distributed over 3,000 MuslimKidsTV Ramadan magazines.
Produced a TV advert for MuslimKidsTV.
Presented on Eman Channel for 5 charities.
Appeared on the Tarikhology Podcast.
Worked with 2 new 1-to-1 coaching clients.
Hired an editor and a personal assistant for Dadhood.
Became an Ambassador for Read Meta School.
Organised 2 Hadith courses for Legacy Foundations.
Personal Development
Completed an Arabic course.
Purchased a new family car.
Took a holiday to Bosnia with friends.
Attended the Muslim Tech Fest.
Family Milestones
Welcomed our third child!
Got a pet hamster.
Enrolled Esa in Jiu Jitsu and Sara in gymnastics.
Took the kids to their first football game.
Enrolled Esa in Read Meta (Online) School.
Celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary.
Community Impact
Helped raise over £100,000 for charity.
Launched the Watford Islamic Centre (WIC).
Enrolled over 160 students into WIC Academy.
Delivered Watford’s first youth Qiyam night.
Delivered talks and khutbahs at various mosques and schools.
Organised Watford’s first Muslim History Bus Tour.
Launched Watford’s first Islamic Summer School.
How did I manage all this while staying present for my family? It wasn’t about working harder but working smarter, aligning my time with what truly matters, and building systems that helped me stay on track.
I’d love to share these strategies with you in an upcoming live webinar. If you’re a dad looking to balance family, work, and community impact, this session is for you.
